We are Grant and Graham and here in Melbourne, Australia, we keep our Gouldians. This web page gives us the opportunity to show anyone and everyone our finches!

It is a site for those who enjoy the Gouldian Finch and who would like to keep them. If you do keep Gouldians even more enjoyment can be gained from breeding them. The joy of seeing them go about their lives and raise a family (or two) is remarkable. Knowing that you have contributed to their lives, by providing them with all that they may need (hopefully!), is a very satisfying feeling also. It is a place to view and experience the fun and fascinating side of this gloriously coloured bird.

We have included links to our birds, our aviaries and also links to other sites pertaining to the Gouldian Finch, which we have found extremely helpful. Part of the reason for developing this site is to raise a broader awareness of the critical status that the Gouldian Finch currently faces. It is listed as 'Endangered' in it's wild habitat at present and the scenario does not look favourable for the future survival of the species. Please take the time to visit the links and read the documents that are available from the 'Wild Status' page. They discuss the present fight and plight to save the Gouldian.

We hope you enjoy your visit. Please browse and enjoy the pictures...and leave a message in the Guest Book! You will find, at the bottom of each page, a direct link back to this main page.

We encourage you to go here...
